Her first word: "Ba-ba" (Bottle)
Yesterday morning, for the first time, Danika reached for her bottle and said "Ba-Ba." I thought maybe I was imagining it, so I repeated it and held the bottle in front of her...she reached again and said it more clearly. I can't believe it...her first word! If there was any doubt, it was erased by the incredible progression over the last 24 hours. She went from mumbling it yesterday morning, to saying it very, very clearly last night...to practically begging for it this morning as she loudly called for it from the floor while I mixed it in the kitchen this morning. :) I have a feeling we are in for quite the experience as she figures more words out. She is really close to saying "Da-da" & "Ma-Ma", so we will see who is first! :)
